John McKee Hale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John McKee Hale of Winder, Georgia, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Hale and Louise Harrison Hale; his brother Robert Hale; his brother-in-law Jobie Melton; and his daughter-in-law Corinne Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Mark, Brett (Nanybel) and Lane Hale (JoBeth); his stepsons, Christopher Dodson (Angie) and Patrick Dodson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Andrew Hale (Sally), Nick Harris (Vada), Alexandria Flaherty (Deken), Marianna Hale, Emmaline Gibbons (Zach), Ryan Hale, Autumn Hale (Casey), Kaelie, Kinsey Dodson, Caroline and Caitlin Dodson; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Hale and Rebecca Melton; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Hale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1810 M. L. K. Jr Blvd, Gainesville, GA 30501). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
