It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carl Cook Jr. of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Ethridge Cook; and his parents, John Carl Cook Sr. and Hazel B. Cook. He is survived by: his grandson John; his children, Cristopher Cook (Jill) of Winder and Kimberly West (Cary) of Winder; his siblings, Catherine Bray of Winder, Cheryl Standard of Gray, Edwin Cook of Jefferson, Melinda Burrell of Statham, Larry Cook of Kingsland, Judy Bender of Winder and Wanda Davis of Winder; and his grandchildren, Jack Cook, Caroline Grace Cook, Rhotie West and Alie West.
The family of Mr. Cook has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the Beaverdam Baptist Church at 1627 Highway 59, Commerce, GA 30530 or River Hills Church at 416 Argonne Rd, Winder, GA 30680.
