With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Lester Cook of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Imogene "Jean" Cook; his son Ernest Jack Cook; his parents, Ernest E. Cook and Johnnie Lou Cook; and his siblings, Montine Hulsey, Doc Cook, Maxine Skinner, Frances Clack, Johnnie Ruth Akins, Phoebe Dillashaw and Harry Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Seagraves (David) of Winder, Tracy Cook (Jennifer) of Watkinsville, Wendy Overstreet (Jeff Carr) of Winder and Scott Cook (Angie) of Franklin, NC; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Daniel, Heather Wright, Ryan Overstreet, Patrick Overstreet, Reed Overstreet and Aaron Cook. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
