It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Barnes Smith of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Edna Wills Barnes; her husband Leroy Smith; her siblings, Jack Barnes, Johnny Barnes, Diane Church, Dot Mobley and Betty Phillips; and her son David Roy Smith.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Shane Smith (Crystal) and Jason Smith (Mandy); her great grandchildren, Skyler, Emily, Madison, Abbey, Jordan, Rylee and Savannah Smith; her nieces, Judy Doster and Pat Hardegree; and her close friend Ellen Ann Scroggs.
