Fred Leroy Morrow Obituary

Mr. Fred Leroy Morrow, age 77, of Monticello, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Athens, Ga. A native of Dutton, Alabama, he was retired as a self employed truck driver. Mr. Morrow is preceeded in death by his wife, Brenda Stowers Morrow; parents, J.R. Morrow and Frances Gray Stephens; daughter Janice Chatman; brother James O'shields; sisters, Ola Mae O'shields and Darlene Stephens. Mr. Morrow is survived by his son, Herbert Wright, Jr.; daughters, Candice & Jeffrey Hunter, Teresa Treadaway, Frances & Kenneth Jeter, Jenny Chappel, Cathy Clark, and Beth Pressley, 43 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren also survive. The Funeral Service to honor the life of Mr. Morrow will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, GA. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
