He is survived by: his wife Ann McSwain Cowart of Winder; his children, Krista Wise (David) of Winder and Darryl Cowart (Kim) of Jefferson; his siblings, David Beasley of Florida, Dennis Beasley of Florida, Vickie Barabas of Florida and Cindy Linderman of Florida; his grandchildren, Katie Flamm (Nick), Hannah Jones (Michael), Jacob Cowart, Becca Given (Hunter) and Bethany Bellflower; and his great grandchildren, Nora Jones and Houston Given.
