For Elaine Johnson is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Smith; and her parents, Jack Johnson and Agnes Huff Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Chris Smith (Beth) of Elberton and Melynda Maddox (Grady) of Winder; her grandchildren, Kristen Dye (Clay) of Evans, Abby Johnson of Kennesaw, Jacob Maddox (Tori) of Seneca and Dalton Maddox of Winder; and her great grandchildren, Brand Johnson and Jackson Dye.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrow Memorial Gardens (793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680).
