He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Beckman and B. J. Thompson; his brother David Beckman; and his niece Denyce Wilson. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Wilson (Danny) of Jefferson; his sister-in-law Patricia Beckman of Winder; his nephews, Daniel W. Wilson Jr. and Spencer Beckman; his niece Christina Guldensupp (Gregory); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Clinton Beckman, Caleb Dowell, Victoria Holland, Lisa Martin, Nicki Williams, Kimberly Beckman and Cheyenne Beckman; and his pet Bruie.

“Dana and I go way back as we were cousins. I remember him always being full of jokes when we would be outside with the rest of the cousins at Bentley reunions. My mother would have relatives over for ice cream socials in our back yard, and get togethers at my parents’ property and pond off Tom Miller Rd. Us cousins always had a good time. we reconnected on social media but didn’t get together often otherwise. There never seems to be enough time to be with those we love. R.I.P. Dana.”
