It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Jo Watson of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on April 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee and Blanche Lee; her brothers, Hoyt Lee and Erastus Lee; her husband Gerald Watson; her son David Watson; her son-in-law Bill Parks; and her friend James Hardigree.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marshia Hunter (Sammy) and Wendy Parks; her daughter-in-law Merry Watson; her grandchildren, Dana House (Michael), Gabe Hunter (Laurie), Anna Humble (John), Parker Watson (Ashley), Emily Watson, Amanda Finn (Alan) and Valerie Weed (Flint); her nephew Ray Lee (Teresa); and her sister-in-law Lucy Watson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Barrow Memorial Gardens (793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Rally Foundation for childhood cancer research at 5775 Glenridge Drive Building B Suite 370 Atlanta, Georgia 30328.
