It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Clifford Stephens of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford James Stephens and Doris Greeson Stephens; and his son Christopher Jay Stephens. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Clifford Stephens, Jr. (Janice) of Talmo and Deston Shane Stephens (Mandy) of Jefferson; his daughter-in-law Becky Rahtz Stephens of Alpharetta; his grandsons, Spencer Jay Stephens, Landon Garrett Stephens and Micah Grant Stephens; and his siblings, Diane Stephens Westray of New York and Russell Stephens of Buford.
He came to visit me at Warm Springs Foundation when I was recovering from polio and surgery.
