He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-uncle James Franklin Taylor; his aunt Nancy Beatrice Howell Taylor; his wife Linda Taylor of Winder, GA; his sisters-in-law, Maxine Moore of Winder, GA, Carol Hinton Nolan (David) of Dayton, OH and Melva Boulware (Raleigh "Jim") of Columbia, SC; and his cousins, Robert E Taylor of Baltimore, MD and Peggy Taylor Pinkney (Ronald) of Bowie, MD. He was also cherished by 23 nieces and nephews.
