She was predeceased by: her parents, Vencil Prewitt and Hazel Lewis Prewitt; and her siblings, Dean Prewitt, Dale Prewitt, Gladys Clevenger and Laura Manuel.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie L. Poindexter of Winder; her daughter Jessica Garrett (J. J.) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Garrett of Auburn and Morgan Garrett of Auburn; and her siblings, Charles Prewitt of Hillsboro, KY, Billy Prewitt (Donna) of Sandy Hook, KY, Mosie Prewitt of Sandy Hook, KY, David Prewitt (Kathy) of Sandy Hook, KY, Lillian Clevenger, Mary Howard (Jack) of Morehead, KY, Linda Massingille (Ray) and Pam Gutierrez.
