It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Deaton Holliday of Winder, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Holliday; her parents, Hubert Deaton and Reba Reynolds Deaton; her son Todd Anthony Holliday; and her siblings, Nathaniel Deaton (Helen), James Deaton (Verla), Gene Deaton (Nora), Bill Deaton, Verlyn Deaton, Bobby Joe Deaton (Helen) and Peggy Joyce Deaton.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Holliday (Norma) of Watkinsville, Susan McWhorter (Robb) of Winder, Kelly Holliday of Winder and Julie Wood (Larry) of Augusta; her sister Corine Deaton; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Morris (Sonny), Jeannette Deaton and Levender Deaton. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
