It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Caroline Carter Thompson (Winder, Georgia), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Carel Thompson Jr.; her children, Deborah (Ray) and Carter (Sharon); her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Jordan; and also Liam.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winder United Methodist Church (in honor of the W.V. Smith Sunday School Class) or to the Winder Noon Lions Club.
