He is survived by: his mother Donna Jean Pozowicz; his girlfriend Jessica Newton; his stepdaughter Layla Parham; his father Joseph Alexander Pozowicz (Monica); his sisters, Cassie Lynn Downey (Wesley) and Heather Diane Pozowicz (Josh Stewart); his nieces, Emalyn Presley Downey, Blakely Lane Downey and Lilah Mae Stewart; and his pets, Jaxxson, Max and Willow.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Brian's memory to the Animal Humane Society.
