He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyan Taylor and Elnora Taylor; his brother Charles Taylor; and his son-in-law David Cloud. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ledbetter Taylor; his daughter Heather Taylor Cloud; his grandchildren, Lexi Cloud of Acworth, Austin Cloud of Montana and Aiden Cloud of Rome; his sister Eleanor Taylor Wilson; and his sister-in-law Edith Hogan Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home (755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680).
