It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Layfield of Winder, Georgia, born in Forest Park, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Layfield and Sarah Layfield; and his granddaughter Anna Grace Peevy. He is survived by: his wife Carol Simonds Layfield of Winder; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Jim Peevy of Dacula; his sister Judy Layfield Kindred of Forest Park; and his grandchildren, Carter, Caleb, Spencer and Kate Peevy.
The family welcomes flowers or donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of Atlanta in memory of his beloved granddaughter, Anna Grace Peevy.
