It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Tarter (Winder, Georgia), born in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Cora Sanford Tarter. She is survived by: her parent Linus Tarter; and her nieces, Gina Grimes and Donna Richland.

In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to Little Bethel Baptist Church.
