He was predeceased by: his wife Julie Fortner; and his parents, Albert M. Fortner and Jesse Fortner (Campbell). He is survived by: his children, Charles Fortner and Jennifer Weaver; his brother Timothy Fortner; his sister-in-law Jenny Fortner; his son-in-law Bryan Weaver; his grandchildren, Alexis Weaver (Lexie), Krysten Weaver and Rachael Weaver; and his niece Jessica Fortner. He is also survived by numerous extended family, and friends.
