He was predeceased by: his son Leland Shoemake; his brother Michael Goss; and his grandmother Martha Womack (PawPaw J. C.). He is survived by: his wife Amber Shoemake; his children, Logan Shoemake and Lana Shoemake; his parents, John Shoemake (Bonnie) and Ollie Hoover; and his siblings, Brian Goss, Preston Hoover, Kevin Shoemake, Brent Goss (Tierra) and Melissa Shoemake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
