He was predeceased by: his father Lyle "Coco" Highlander. He is survived by: his mother Betty Smithson Highlander (W. Va) of Alderson; his wife Maria Ortiz Highlander of Williamson; his daughters, Yldamarie Turner (Daniel) of Locust Grove, Elizabeth Highlander and Addison Highlander of Williamson; his granddaughters, Evelyn Turner and Elaine Turner of Locust Grove; and his brother Jeffrey Highlander (W. Va) of Alderson. He is also survived by several cousins; and several nieces and one nephew.
