He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollin Meade and Annie Worrell Meade; his wife Peggy Yarborough Meade; his sisters, Pat McManus and Nita Ann Chambers; and his grandson Hunter "Luke" Polnaszek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn Walker (Brandon), Shelley Meade (Andy) and Mandy Garner (Jason); his grandchildren, Summer Smith (Zac), Emily Scott, Mason Scott, Zachary Garner (Kensley), Zeb Garner and Zane Garner; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Yarbrough (Martha), Linder Dunn and Vivian Messer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
