He was predeceased by: his parents, John Merriman and Rosa Carson Merriman; his wife Marilyn Tedrick Merriman; his son John L. Merriman; and his sisters, Lois Greeson and Rosemary Gerkin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deby (Karl Landry), Teri (Jay Comeaux) and Pam (Mike Neely); and his sister-in-law Lisa Merriman of Kealakekua, HI.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; brother.
