He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Swaney and Myrtle Stanley Swaney; his wife LaVerne Long Swaney; and his brother Gus Swaney. He is survived by: his children, Karen (Buddy Scudder), Mark (Julie Swaney) and Mike (Diane Swaney); his grandchildren, David Levins, Bryan Swaney, Eric Swaney, Karen Bennett, Samantha Wert, Holly Eimer, Chance McGuire and Bill Brown of Tallapoosa, AL.; and also Carol. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; sister.
