It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Powell (Williamson, Georgia), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Linton Powell and Mae Louise Cummings Powell. She is survived by: her son Greg Chockley of Williamson; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashley and Wesley Chockley; her brother Louis "Sonny"; her sister-in-law Sue Dotson of Williamson; her sister Rosemary; her brother-in-law Richard Hannah of Brooks; and her nieces and nephews, Scott Dotson (Sheryl), Kimmie Shettle and Katie Long.
