She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Grey Rawls and Mary Loura Baker Rawls; her husband Eugene Copeland; her siblings, Dr. Otis Grey Rawls Jr. and Nancy Rawls Etheridge; and her daughter Betty Diane Skelton.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Louise Brown, Roland Randall Skelton, Jr., John Otis Skelton (Gina) and Jan Copeland Exum; her grandchildren, Katherine Guth Matey (Jonathan), Otis Guth, Joseph Guth, Dr. Jacqueline Skelton, Rhett Skelton (Mary), Preston Skelton, Luke Skelton, Randall Skelton and Scotlyn Skelton; her children, Mandi Harvill, Sara Skelton Singer (Gideon), Grey Skelton (Emma), Natalie Exum Sanders (Thomas) and Calen Exum (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Juliana, Isabella, Sophia, Gabriella, Serenity, Presley, Kiyanah, Everett, Bodie, Abriel and Ian. She is also survived by nephew and nieces.
