He is survived by: his mother Shirley Kirkland Chapman of Valdosta; his wife Vickey Hunkapiller Kirkland of Willacoochee; his son Blain Kirkland (Christina) of Willacoochee; his siblings, A. L. Kirkland of Dothan, Ala. and Deborah Nobles (Mike) of Panama City, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Lilliana and Richard Blain Kirkland, III. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other relatives.
