He is survived by: his wife Velma Chaney Russ of Willacoochee; his children, Matthew Russ (Erin) of Willacoochee and Lori Russ Howard (Lawrence) of Willacoochee; his siblings, Harry Russ (Judy) of Pearson and Gail Vickers of Willacoochee; and his grandsons, Dylan Howard and James Russ. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
