He was predeceased by: his parents, William Aden and Lovey Louise Bellflower Boyd; his son William Michael Boyd; and his siblings, Carlos Boyd, Talmadge Boyd, Robert Boyd, Mildred Wortham, Arlene Franks and Lillian Holly.
He is survived by: his wife Lyvonne Paulk Boyd of Willacoochee; his children, Gregory H. Boyd (Hannah) of Angier, N. C. and Cynthia Pettis (Jeffrey) of Willacoochee; his sister Eloise Hughes (George) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Sherry Bailey (Rhett), Cathy Young (Jason), Elizabeth Boyd and Gregory S. Boyd; and his great grandchildren, Luke Cravey, Faith Young, Cadence Cravey, River Bailey and Lauren Boyd.
