He is survived by: his wife Doris Edwina Crosby Vickers of Willacoochee; his children, Rodney Vickers of Willacoochee and Carrie Adams (Trampas) of Willacoochee; his siblings, Kenneth "JoJo" Vickers of Tifton, Beverly Vickers Duncan of Jacksonville and Earlene Roland (Michael) of Greenville; his siblings-in-law, Jenny Vickers of Douglas and J. W. Dockery of Broxton; his grandchildren, Phaedra Merritt (Logan), Kendra Vickers, Kate Densmore (Ben), Ely Adams, Sara Vickers, Darcy Adams, Isabella Vickers, Dawson Vickers and Jamilee Vickers; his great grandchildren, Mason and Clayton Merritt; and his nephew Chris Vickers (Paula) of Douglas. He is also survived by Several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation for Mr. Vickers will be held, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. from 6:00-8:00 p. m. Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and standards regarding the containment of the Coronavirus including masks and social distancing.
