He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent E. Carver and Vera Harper Carver; his son-in-law Benjie Dyal; and his brother-in-law Clark Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Carver of Willacoochee, GA; his daughters, Becky Mitchell (Roland) of Kirkland, GA and Denise Dyal of Madison, FL; his granddaughter Cali Dyal of Tallahassee, FL; and his sister Othelia Thomas of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
