It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie McDonald of Willacoochee, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Vickers; her husband Laymond Willie McDonald; her half-siblings, Lunell V. Mathews, Willie Mae Baker and Wilie Vickers; and her pet Chloe.
She is survived by: her mother Vira Hall Vickers of Ambrose, GA; her sons, Laymond McDonald (Karla) of Willacoochee, GA, Keith M. McDonald (Carla) of Willacoochee, GA and Willie Neal McDonald of Willacoochee, GA; her siblings, Richard Vickers (Ruth) of Ambrose, GA, Windell Vickers (Eva) of Atlanta, GA and Vicki Giddens (Donnie) of Pearson, GA; her half-brother Harold Vickers of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Morgan McDonald, Raelyn Dill, Zach McDonald, Cason McDonald and Milly Akridge; and her great grandchildren, Abby McDonald, Gunner Dill, Rylee Dill and Dallen Giddens. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.
