She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Jowers and Eva Carver Jowers; her husband Arlen McKinnon, Sr.; and her siblings, Ira Jowers, Richard Jowers, Charles Jowers, Tom Jowers, Evelyn King, Julia Hutchinson and Ethel Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Arlen McKinnon, Jr. (Antoinette) of Willacoochee, Georgia and Kathleen Merritt (Ronald) of Willacoochee, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kayla Merritt of Willacoochee, Layne Merritt (Catelyn) of Tifton, Hailey Courson (Austin) of Virginia, Hunter McKinnon of California and Sarah Hodge of Valdosta, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Samuel Merritt, McKinley Courson, Mason Courson and Maverick Courson; her brothers, Paul Jowers of Douglas, Henry Jowers of Charleston and John Alan Jowers of Columbia; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Soles, Martha Denton (Billy) of Broxton, Florine Phillips of Douglas, Georgia, Louise Maulden of Douglas, Marie McKinnon of Willacoochee, Dollie Mae McKinnon of Douglas, Lucille McKinnon Burch of Willacoochee and Irene McKinnon of Douglas, Georgia..
