He was predeceased by: his parents, Boston Vaughan and Lois Vaughan; and his sisters, Myrtle Martin (Junior), Flossie Brogden (Glenn) and Wilma Courtney (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Alojean Vaughan; his children, Joey Vaughan (Lowanna), Jeff Vaughan and Hope Monday (Jason); his grandchildren, Ashton (Tye), Justin (Taylor), Colton (Whitley), Sydney (Shane), Jessica, Hannah and Kate; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn, Jasper, Callie, Jayce, Kace, Jackson, Jettson, Boston and Annlea. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
