She was predeceased by: her son Leonel Herrera. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Skipper (Samuel) and Nora Lea Tanner (Stewart); her grandchildren, Brent Ward, Heather Ward, Joey Hale (Patricia), Alex Hale, Alexandria Herrera and Diana Herrera; and her sister Santos Cruz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
