It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Roy Hicks (Wildwood, Georgia), born in Section, Alabama, who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hicks and Minnie Hicks Bunch; and his sister Minnie Fay Thurmond. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hicks; his sons, James (Cathy), Tim (Cindy) and Mark (Andria); his grandsons, Chris, Chad, Tony and Tyler Hicks; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Ty Hicks and Haylee Hicks; his sister Mary Creed; and his sister-in-law Eloise Brazier. He is also survived by friends, nieces and nephews.
