With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve B. Burns of Whitesburg, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burns and Buvena Holder Burns; his siblings, Donald, Robert Burns (Bob) and Judy Burns Duncan; his daughter-in-law Jerri Hobson Burns; and his grandsons, Keith Benton Burns, Jr. and Kurt Benjamin Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Penelope Holder Burns (Penny); his sons, Keith Burns (Michele), Mitchell Burns (Lee) and Melvin Burns; his grandchildren, Nicholas Burns, Tyler Burns (Kelli), Kami Burns Reed (Jordan), Emily Burns Parker (Seth), Kyle Burns and Alexandra Burns Wood (Ashton); and his siblings, David Burns (Mary), Carol Burns and Sylvia Huckeba. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
