With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madelene Carnes Pate (Whitesburg, Georgia), who passed away on November 7, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent James Carnes; her husband John Knight Pate; and her grandchildren, Mary Jean Pate and John Wilson Pate. She is survived by: her parent Cassie Holland Carnes; her son Wilson Pate; her daughter-in-law Brenda Pate of Whitesburg; her grandson Jayson; her great grandchildren, Asher Knight Pate and John Knight Pate; her sisters, Imogene Harris of Whitesburg and Lawana White of Marietta; her niece Rene Harris; and her cousin Jill Howard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Antioch Baptist Seniors Meal or the Cemetery Fund at 1835 East Hwy 5, Whitesburg, GA 30185.
