It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alfred Blair Jr. of Whitesburg, Georgia, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Alfred Blair Sr.; and his sisters, Betty Jo Henley and Patricia Joan Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Thompson Blair; his wife Melissa Staneck Blair; his children, William Anthony (Angela Blair), Crystal Louise Blair, Andrea Lea (Matthew Kelly), Tasha Nicole (Merlin Omar Padilla Ortiz) and Kimberly Michelle Blair (Sonny Boyce); and his brothers, James David Blair and Richard Dennis Neill. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home (1312 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
