She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Carnes and Cassie Grace Holland Carnes; and her husband Albert Thomas "A. T.". She is survived by: her siblings, Emma "Evelyn" Atcheson, Madelene, Carnes Pate, Joan Sclombe, Geneva Pate, Bill Carnes, Joe Carnes, Lamar Carnes, Ralph Carnes and Jay B. Carnes; her daughter Renee Harris of Whitesburg; and her sister Lawana White of Marietta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and special great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 1835 E. Hwy 5, Whitesburg, GA 30185.
