She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul Bennett and Helen Gosnell Bennett; her brother Bobby Bennett; and her grandson Michael Avery Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" E. Thomas, Sr.; her children, Michael Thomas Jr. (Bridget), Cynthia Crandall (Jon) and Michelle Thomas; her sisters, Lois Edalgo and Ann Mauldin; her grandchildren, Amber Buck, Anastasia Bass, Kristen Deese, Katlyn Thomas, Christopher Thomas and Teighlor Thomas; her great grandchildren, Charisma Pender, Cameron Pender and Mitchell Pender; and her niece Denise Magnus Gall.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home (1312 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church.
