He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie H. Boone and Geneva Hopson Boone; his sons, Jeff Boone and Greg Boone; and his brothers, Jerry Boone and Dennis Boone.

He is survived by: his wife Gwenda Boone; his daughters, Judy Ellard (Robby), Angela Williams and Elana Huckeba (Scott); his sisters, Carole Nylander and Donna Wauman; his grandchildren, Cody Newborn (Jessica), Levi Huckeba, Josie Huckeba and Lance Boone; and his sister-in-law Mannon Ponder (Jackie). He is also survived by other grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and family; and special brother-in-law.
