He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh P. Minor, Sr. and Lois Martin Minor; his grandson Matt Minor; and his brothers, Hugh P. Minor, Jr. and Everett Minor.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Minor; his children, Phillip Minor, Nita Minor of Lula, Gary Minor, Chyrl Waldrip of Gainesville, Gayle Martin, Royce Martin of Gainesville and Gregory Minor of Augusta; his grandchildren, Brian Martin of Cleveland, Branon Martin (Kate), Hoschton, Ben Martin (Kayleigh), Nathan Minor (Sarah), Oakwood and Lamar Minor (Jacqueline); his sister Olivia Whelchel of Gainesville; and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Sandra Savage of Gainesville, Roy and Ann Burtz.
