Mitchell of White, Georgia, born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Mitchell and Pearl Mitchell; his grandson Jon Charles Gridley; and his siblings, Guy, Troy, Bobby, Gene, Maurice Mitchell and Willie Mae Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Mitchell; his children, Vicki Gazaway (David), Kenneth (Lisa) and Matthew Mitchell (Nicki); his grandchildren, Chad Penland, Clayton Gridley, Paige Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Nella Mitchell and Luke Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Kelbie Penland and Geronimo "Mo" Gridley Roys. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
