He is survived by: his parent Frankie Abrams Abernathy; and his grandchildren, Gayle Hazelwood (Rodney), Lynn Abernathy, Wanda Williams (David), Patsy Hames, Shawn Abernathy (Aimee), Donnie Abernathy (Darlene) and Ronnie Abernathy (Ann). He is also survived by 41 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
