He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Vollm; and his children, Philip Vollm and Debbie Allen. He is survived by: his children, Donna Coates and Tony Vollm (Elaine); and his siblings, Jimmy Vollm, Ronnie Vollm, Margaret Reeves, Sandra Vollm and Kenny Vollm. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
