He is survived by: his wife Janice Byrd Miller of White Oak; his children, Sam Miller, III (Freddie) of Shelby, NC. and Stephanie Miller of White Oak; and his siblings, Joe Miller (Debbie) of White Oak, Tom Miller (Fannie) of White Oak, Richard Miller (Regina) of White Oak, Debra King (Gregory "Rooster") of White Oak, Lindy Carter (Kim) of White Oak and Shirley Carter of Woodbine.
