We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, at the age of 89, Lewis Stephen Lawson Jr. of White Oak, Georgia, born in Binghamton, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Stephen Lawson Sr. and Elizabeth Pauline Belvees Lawson; and his siblings, Marie Nechita and Gordon Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Russell Lawson; his children, Georgetta (Ray Schommer), Cheryl (Keith Barber), Cindy (Mike Harper) and Lewis III; his daughter-in-law Kari Lawson of Bradenton, FL.; his siblings, Jean Shaw, Ruth Mitchell and Robert of Cocoa, FL.; and his sister-in-law Pam Lawson of Cocoa, FL.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish to honor Lewis, the family requests that donations be made to the Choestoe Baptist Church or to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
