He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert L Lyons and Ann Elizabeth Lyons; his grandmother Bessie Haggerty; and his mother-in-law Kate Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Marie Lyons; his children, Tanya Burris (B. J.) of Bainbridge, GA and John Lyons (Katie) of Whigham, GA; his grandchildren, Layton, Taydem, Vada Burris, Highlie, Elisity and John Lawson Lyons; his brother Tom Lyons (Melissa) of Whigham, GA; his nephew Kyle Harris; his niece Mallory Lyons; and his father-in-law George Lawson.
