He is survived by: his son Jimmy Lee Williams; his wife Lillie Williams; his children, Johnnie Mae Mathais of Conyers, Jacquelyn Henderson (Sam) of Decatur, Georgia Grier, Helen Grier (Johnny) of Covington, Georgia, George Williams (Gloria) of Weston, Thomas Williams (Armar) of Atlanta, Willard Williams of Conyers, Johnny B. Williams, Jr. of Weston, Georgia Williams and Willie J. Williams of Weston, Georgia; and his daughter-in-law Mary Williams of Richland, Georgia. He is also survived by two grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, and thirty-six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
